About

Design that begins before construction.

Design Essentials PNW was founded to support clarity at the earliest stages of residential projects, including early planning and plan review.

Long before materials are selected or spaces are styled, critical decisions are made - often without the benefit of a design lens focused on how homes are actually lived in and built.

My work sits in that space.

I work alongside builders, architects, and homeowners to review plans, refine layouts, and support material and spatial decisions in residential construction projects before they become permanent.

The focus is not decoration, but understanding scale, flow, and intent - and helping projects move forward with confidence.

My work spans early plan review through fully realized residential environments, depending on project needs. I bring a designer’s eye, a planner’s discipline, and a practical understanding of how decisions ripple through a project — supporting teams who value thoughtfulness over trend and clarity over excess.

Collected

Collected is an extension of how I see and organize space.

It reflects the same spatial awareness, material sensitivity, and visual thinking that guide my design work — translated through photography, paper goods, and carefully chosen objects.

Each piece is selected or created with attention to proportion, balance, and restraint — offering a tangible expression of how I observe, frame, and understand the built environment.
